The ice paintings were taken with dawn light through frozen windows at sub 15 degree winter temperatures. They capture the actual color spectrum of the sunrise though the glass and have not be manipulated to adjust or intensify the morning light. They are exactly as nature displayed them with the ice acting as a prism to separate the colors. They were a gift.
