These goldfish pictures were taken in my 55 gallon aquarium using a tripod and only the illumination from the reflectors on top of the aquarium. There was no flash or other outside illumination. The colors of the fish and their brilliant fins were the colors from the aquarium light. The pictures were taken at midnight and the early morning so that there were no reflections from ambient light.
Unfortunately, when I retired from my law practice to engage in full time photography, I had to dismantle the aquarium after 30 years in my office. These pictures, taken just before I retired, were my tribute to the fish and the aquarium that had given me endless delight for so long.
