FLORAL INSPIRATIONS displays the many faces of cultivated flowers that can be captured as inspiring portraits in the studio and greenhouse.

I love to shoot flowers in the studio and greenhouse. They are my favorite subjects: they are always pleased to display themselves, they do not get anxious in front of the camera, and they are always smiling and patient. They are the perfect subjects!

Flowers constantly surprise me with unexpected views and if there is ever a shortcoming in the picture it is my fault and not theirs. They are always an inspiration, and trying to understand and portray their intimacy is a joyful challenge. They make me glad to be a photographer.
